The Holiday Gift Buying Guide for the Bookworms in Your Life

It’s December, which means that it’s officially the holiday season. If you’re preparing to buy gifts for the bookworms in your life, read through this helpful little guide to come up with some gift ideas and the places where you could get these gifts.

*Note: Some of the shops and brands listed are companies that I currently rep for or have rep for in the past. I just wanted to disclose this, but just note that I only rep for companies that I genuinely love and support, and I also receive no money from being a rep, just free products.*

Candles

Bookish candles are some of my favorite items! First, who doesn’t love curling up to read while smelling something comforting and delicious? Second, there’s something so cool about burning a candle inspired by your favorite book or character! There are so many companies out there that make bookish candles, so you’re guaranteed to find one for your favorite bookworm. Some companies even offer custom candles, where you can pick the scents and name for the candle

Here are a few of my favorite shops!

Booksleeves

Booksleeves are a fairly new addition to my bookish collection, but oh my gosh, they have made so much of a difference in my life and I never leave home without one now! They’re protective sleeves for your books that keep them from getting damaged when on the go. This is especially helpful for me, as I always throw books in my backpack for school.

Booksleeves come in all sorts of prints, sizes, and designs, so you’re bound to find the perfect one for the reader in your life.

Here are some fun shops that sell booksleeves!

Bookmarks

Every bookworm needs a good bookmark to keep their place during their reading adventures. While most already have a stash of trusty bookmarks, usually from bookstores, book subscription boxes, and libraries, there are some really cool options to look into, such as woodmarks and metalmarks!

As the names suggest, they’re super thin decorative bookmarks made of either wood or metal with the design printed directly onto the surface! They’re always so pretty and much more durable than paper bookmarks, which may get worn and creased over time.

Here are some of my favorites:

Socks

Okay, who doesn’t love getting a nice pair of fun socks? There are actually plenty of bookish socks available on the market, perfect for keeping your favorite bookworm’s feet warm as they snuggle by the fireplace and read this winter. As with most socks, bookish socks come in a variety of styles, designs, and sizes, so all you have to do is pick out a pair and your gift is ready!

Here are some examples:

Book Box Subscriptions

Subscription boxes are all the rage these days, and bookish ones are so much fun! There are so many companies out there and they all offer their own spin on the book subscription box genre. With these boxes, you can usually gift subscriptions lasting between 1 month to 1 year, so it’s a gift that keeps giving!

Here are some of my favorite book subscription companies!
